this might be a long shot but does anyone know if a 1992 Xj600s seca II tank will bolt to an 83 XJ550 maxim?

I seriously doubt it, 2 completely different animals, style wise. An early Seca or Maxim would be the best bet. cruzerjd

You are correct - there are no interchangeable parts that I know of between the Seca II and the first generation Seca's -- let alone Maxim's.

Now I might be wrong about the totality of that statement, but I pretty much guarantee that the tanks won't swap....

I was poking around ebay last night and ran across a seca II tank for under $100 if your still looking to try that rout.
