    Hey everyone!

So I've had alot of knee problems and they tend to cramp up if kept at such an angle for too long.

I was wanting to put on some highway pegs, but didn't want to put on crash bars.

Does anyone know of some that would mount right to the frame?

The cheaper the better, as long as they're safe.

    Thanks!!

You've got to get out past the engine first. That's another reason for the crash bars.

I've got these on my 550. Picked them up from my cousin off of his 650 but I've never seen them for sale anywhere. Wouldn't be too hard to fab up though!

I saw a Maxim with home fabricated forward controls but the linkages looked really unreliable. Has anyone successfully made this work? If so I would like to modify mine that way. Or maybe aftermarket kits if they exist.

TC Bros makes a kit. I built my own. They work great. There are several others on this site with forward controls.

How far forward does the tv bros kit move your feet ahead? Would that eliminate the need for highway pegs?

If you could post some pics here that would be awesome.

    Thanks!

I don't have the TC Bros kit. Others on here do.

There's plenty of pictures of my bike here with the controls on it.

No highway pegs needed. I did leave the stock pegs for a different foot rest option though I don't recall using them.
