    Hello everyone.
First of all, I would like to give a big thanks to Len.
With out him, getting the parts I need for the bike would be alot more difficult.
I also used the forum to do some much needed service. And thanks to the excellent write ups I have adjusted the valves, rebuilt the petcock, repainted the valve cover, cleaned the carbs, and derusted the fuel tank. I still have to put everything together, and this is where I have some questions.

The fuel barb on my petcock seems to be a press fit type.
However, there is a tiny groove on the barb that had remnants of glue. Does anyone know what type of glue goes here?

Also, the number 2 carb has a vacuum tube pointing upwards. When I took the carbs off, this tube was plugged. But I would like to know where it's supposed to go.

    This is the valve cover.
I removed the old paint with jasco. Sand blasted everything.
Painted with black duplicolor ceramic engine paint.
Sanded the ribs. And clear coated with the same type of paint.
The paint wrinkled in a few areas due to the base coat not drying completely. But it still looks way better than it used to.

Can't say too much about the paint. Typically rattle can stuff.
The road will test it's durability.
