Break lever.

    Hey guys how can I adjust the breaK lever so its not like trying to palm a basketball? I have to stretch out my hand and I can only reach it by my finger tips?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    That's the way the 650 brake lever curves. If you don't like it, you'll have to look for a different shape.....

    maybe one of the seca levers--a little straighter, but a funny curve at the pivot on some

    some of the older Honda's are a very straight lever......late 70's Goldwings, in particular

    or go to www.denniskirk.com and look at their selection

    You can turn the plunger screw (screw on the end of the lever where it presses the cylinder on the MC) out to give you a little room, but it won't be much.

    You can try bending the lever (off the bike) to move it in to the grip a bit.
    OR
    Replace with a different style of lever.

    I would NOT recommend trying to bend it. You WILL weaken it. Trust me.....been there. One bend may not seem to be a problem, but if you try and bend it back, it WILL snap. I've only broken three trying to straighten THREE when I've gotten ones in that had been SLIGHTLY bent. I've learned my lesson.....3 for 3, all broken. DOn't try to bend them.

    Maybe the lever you have on there is bent; the stock Yamaha lever isn't that extreme and it can be adjusted.
