Yeah one of those would be neat. I'm actually thinking about getting the Maxim 750's Atari (gauges are bigger) and adding a speedo that goes past 80mph.
I've been meaning to get a tank bra to cover the dent in the tank. :(

I'm driving down to meet member Vanone next week to buy his tour pack fairing and hardware. :D

I wonder of the bar is gonna clear the fairing at full lock.

I didn't even think of that. They Def won't looking at this one picture on the net. I'll have to get some risers.

Thanks to Polock's advice to another member via the search button, I'm now jetted at 128/41 and have the mixture screws 3.75 turns out. It turns out both POs I s/w were correct the bike did have bone stock jetting, w/ pods, and a MAC 4-1 with 4 drill holes in the baffle.

I didn't get to ride but I did get her started and noticed a big improvement. The revs fall faster and don't hang as much, sounds a tad louder, eliminated the backfiring. I might plug 2 of the 4 holes with screws and washers and see how that affects performance.
Looking forward to doing the valves and syncing for some nice fall riding.

Finally had time to do my valves. Yikes 8O , not YICS, Yikes.
    Here is how they were.

    1 2 3 4
    E .16 pass, .14 fail, .10 fail, .12 fail
    I .04 fail, .15 pass, .15 pass, .04 fail.

So placed my first order with Chacal-tastic and hope to be back on the road this weekend.

Allright so I got my valves in spec. I didn't realize how easy this was.
It just sounds intimidating I guess. I gapped my spark plugs.
Rolled her out of the garage last night and she coughed to life. Always nice when the bike starts after it's been worked on I guess.
Going to sync the carbs this weekend and we have some nice days coming up looking forward to riding.
My order from Chacal came in 2 days, thanks Len!
Still don't have my tour pack, but the more pictures I see the more I think my bar will fit without a riser.

So, I think this thread deserves a update.
After that post, I struggled mightily with getting the bike synced and running. I rolled into the garage and it sat all winter. I decided it was not worth putting that heavy old cumbersome fairing on. I built the trunk though and use the trunk when I ride to work. I also put the steering stabilizer on. The gas tank fell off the bike and smashed the top real good. I finally found one on ebay cheap I just bought. I also struggled with the valve cover leaking oil. I replaced the gasket and caps and it still leaked. I small amount of black rtv around the cam cove area solved that issue.
I replaced the throttle and clutch cable. I used Fitz's guide on gauges and took my atari apart and lubed it up nice and replaced the speedo cable. Nice to not have it screaming at me anymore.
I tried to sell her twice, both times the seller changed their mind and I felt like not selling. I finally did some homework on bench syncing, and that paper method was not working at all. I finally did the paper clip method where you keep one clip in #3 and then do 4,2 and 1 all paper clipped to 3.
Thankfully, that worked as the bike starts on its own without starting fluid and rides really nice for not currently being vacuumed synced. I'm getting ready to replace the front brake pads as the ones on there are worn fairly well and fade out fast. Then I should be set to get her inspected. Here is how she sits now.
