I don't think it's garbage, but I guess any time you post something in an on-line forum...it's pretty hard to tell people what they should post..

Anyway, I think it looks sharp! Not necessarily the direction I'm going in, but looks good none the less!

Well I didn't tell anyone what to post I simply asked NOT to post any negative comments....but you're right you can't trust human beings to mind their manners, some never learned....

Looks neat. And don't worry if someone else doesn't like it, as long as you do.

Hey, I think the bike looks sweet! We all want to look cool, but in the end, just go ride!

And anyways, it's sweet, I think the guys will love it, I do! :)

    Nice Work!

Love the tank, and the skateboard seat! It'd look pretty sweet with some woodcraft or tommaselli clip ons. Kind of hard to tell since I'm viewing this on my phone but the pipe wrap looks a little weird on left two cylinders.

X2 on what's been mentioned before, don't worry if not everyone likes your bike or has negative comments, when it all comes down to it, it doesent matter what they think as long as you like it.

I personally would rather have constructive criticism rather than everyone saying that they love it, even if there are things that they would change, etc.

I agree that the "that looks like sh1t" comments that have no explanation to why they think that are unnessassry, but those are easily to filter out and ignore..

Personally, I like it - that tank really puts the bike on a whole nother level imo.

    Sweet.

    - oh- but Also x2 on the pipe wrap, idk if you tried to wrap them on the bike or what, but I would just pull the Exaust and wrap them again.

That's really all though. Even the front tire looks "right" on there.

    Job well done.

Thanks guys! I agree with the pipe comments and will address soon, I feel like thinner wrap would look better, also I think I might swap for black......this is my first bike and first build I had a lot of fun....

redsix, the tank is stock and a product of my boredom and a hammer, I didn't like it at first but the paint and yz125 stickers changed my mind.

    some info on the build:
did the minimum harness rewiring i found here, blank skateboard deck seat with 1/2" car seat foam poly (super cheap) fabric cover, sportster 10.5 shocks, cheapo drag bars, 70something cl450 headlight lowered 2 inches, hammered tank (yes its bondo'd too) with yz125 decals, vee rubber tires 140/90/16 rear, stock front size(swap meet), fleabay bullet tails (removed one now only have one) pod filters on the way as well as new jets
not riding it until its tuned to my liking (built my manometer), checking valve clearance tomorrow, jets on the way(might try drilling mine for the hell of it)

    keeping it simple....

As someone else with a weird bike, I think it’s great. I like the color with the decal. I would go for black wrap on the pipes as a cheap improvement.

I want him to get it running so we can RACE! (Hey there are no rules in Detroit.)

I wanna see it in person. That's one of the coolest hand-hammered tanks I've seen, and believe me I've seen quite a few.

Then I wanna see it GO! He should smoke me, he's lopped 100lb off that puppy easy.

Yeah, that's a fantastic looking bike. I would have tuned it before modding it, though, so you could feel the before and after. I actually like the white tape; I like a bike that looks like a serious racer, but has just enough imperfection to let you know someone really rides it and it ain't a garage queen.

Cutting off 100 lb is like adding 14 horsepower... That should be fun.

I've seen the hammer tank mod before on this forum, yours looks great. I've always been a fan of dished tanks. 8)
