Ok guys (and maybe the occasional girl), I have this issue with my 700x. Fuel just flows from the back of the carbs when I start the bike, after running for 30 seconds or so. This is what I have already tried:

    - float height correct (dry)
    - clear tube method for fuel level
    - petc0ck works

Fuel still just runs out the back of the carbs when I run the bike... not when it sits, even if the petc0ck is set to prime so the float valve thingies (needles?) are shutting off flow. But not when running? I am totally confused, and I have already tried all the usual corrections but nothing is working to stop the flow of fuel but turning the bike off.

Any ideas? Please? In idiot friendly terms?

Stock air box, no pods. It turned out #4 was high even though it was ok the other day. I ended up pulling the carbs and checking float levels dry, smoothing #4s pin with emory cloth (bulls eye Fits, it was hanging up) then clear tube again... Now it is doing ok. Thanks guys. This bike has been fun but exhasperating! Might even get to ride it once before it snows! (After the lack of winter who knows what summer will bring??)
