Master Cylinder HHHHHHHELP

    I know this should be in for sale or trade but it's more of a question than anything. I have a 1980 XJ650 Maxim I and I need a brake switch but I'm having trouble getting it identified. In the schematics it shows that the switch is round and attached to the top end of the resivore (spelling?) however mine is on the bottom. I have no way to ask the PO if he changed it. Can anyone tell me what I have and where I can find one?
    ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED PLEASE.

    That is definately NOT the stock master cylinder for an XJ.
    Spend a few bucks and get a proper OEM replacement from Ebay, or maybe someone around here might have one.

    Your best bet may to be just get a new one from MikesXS.com. I ordered a new one for my XJ550 and it was only $69 new. While I was there I upgraded the clutch side mount to a heavy duty 2 piece one for $12. If your not looking for new though keep an eye out on Ebay like Atlus suggested, you may find a good deal there .
