Following yesterday's post about my clumsy application of tank badges (not level with each other (no excuse) and using glue which melted the paint) I have managed today to rescue it.

I wet'n'dry'ed the damaged paint then carefully removed the damaged sections of stripes/decals below where the new decals sit.

I created new decals/badges in Illustrator and printed them onto self-adhesive material, then lacquered them. Hopefully avoiding any sharp edges to the design will mean they won't lift.

I know they don't look original, but believe me when I tell you that I'm very, very relieved to have got a result like this after thinking that my tank was ruined.

I like that a lot! :D I wish I could find a good quality decal for my tank.
