I got this 82 650 SECA in January and have been working on it almost every weekend since. One previous owner, 26000km and wasn't road registered since 91 (but was occasionally driven since then illegally by PO). I got it for 1000 canadian and have so far:
    - rebuilt carburetors (bad diaphrams) and they pass the clunk test
    - Upsized the main jets
    - replaced old air filter with K&N air filter
    - synched carbs
    - new spark plugs
    - replaced oil cover and mangled oil cover bolt (PO)
    - painted the bike
    - lined the tank with Creme
    - new front tire
    - bled the front brakes
    - cleaned and polished
    - changed oil
    - changed shaft drive oil
    - changed oil filter
    - replaced a few burnt out bulbs
    - new battery

    To do:
    - check valve shims
    - apply yellow circle decals to tank sides to match my helmet

The bike now runs absolutely great.

A sweet temporary gas tank for testing purposes:

I like to see I'm not the only person to use various plastic containers for "temporary" gas tanks. Love the Green. I have a Seca the same year but it surely doesn't look that good............yet.
