Colorado, Denver or Colorado Springs. Lots of jobs. If you cant find a job here, you dont want to work.

South Dakota is pretty easy on the wallet as well. The eastern side of the state is fairly flat, but has the bigger towns to it which tend to be a bit more expensive to live in but still not bad. Here around the Black Hills we have allot of beautiful scenery and smaller towns. The cost of living isn't to bad here either, definitely better than the eastern side. I know allot of guys who live in the smaller towns throughout the Black Hills and work in either Rapid City or Spearfish as the drive to almost anywhere here is less than an hour. That is unless you take the scenic rout ;)

Arizona isn't a bad place to be. Plenty of sunshine, growing job market if you want to be in Phx. Every sort of terrain imaginable and it's only 4-6 hrs from everything you could ever need. (Ocean, Vegas, Mexico)

As far as the wife, She would not have a problem finding a job here in the springs. They are constructing a new hospital here. The health care profession seems to be a good place to find jobs. Lots of places to have a small farm also. 35 acre lots seem to be everywhere. Just make sure you have water rights on the land or you wont be able to drill a well. Hopefully one all ready exsists on the property. It can be a bit expensive though. Just depends on what part of town you live in. It is a litle cheaper towards the south and the east of the colorado springs.
If you make it out here, look me up.

Yeah, that's the west. They are all fighting for water out there. Colorado is constantly having their water stolen from the southwest...AZ, NM, NV, parts of UT, and southern CA all get water from Colorado.

Yea if it werent for colorado Las Vegas probably would not exsist. Colorado river runs west and the arkansas runs east and with it most of our water. Water rights are a big thing out here. Now if you dont have an exsisting well you are just out there. Most places all ready have water though. So come on out and get setteled and we will find a nice twisty road to take a ride on.

I will look into it for you and see what I can come up with. I know there are allot of smaller farms around the edge of the hills. There are some even up in the hills so I am not sure, but I will see what I can find out for you.
