Anyone have photos of the original wiring in the headlight bucket? My buddy says they all go inside there. That's alot of wiring to get back behind the light! Any photos or info would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty crowded. I made pictures of my 85 XJ 700n Maxim, and I'm going to try and attach them. If they don't come throught contact me at tabaka45@gmail.com and I'll send them that way.

You just have to 'cosy' them round, like a bird's nest.

I'll move them over for you.

Yeah, everything fits in there....and the headlight too. Good idea to dob a little di-electric grease on the connectors before plugging them in, it helps with corrosion.

How did you move the pictures over? I thought I was doing good to just get the link set up.

Go to your photobucket album, move the cursor over a photo and a drop down menu will appear....click on the link that starts with 'IMG' (usually the bottom one)....it will say 'copied'...paste that link in your forum post and submit....the pic will be there.

Oh Man! You Rock! That helps out a lot. Thanks

While I'm looking at the wires I see a Lime Green plug. I started to get all the wires together and came across no match for that one. Any idea where that one goes? I also see a fat brown wire in my bucket also has no match. I think I better see if it fell out of one of the plastic oem plugs inside there.

    Again, Thanks

The lime green plug goes to the clutch switch.

What a mess. That lime green plug, I can find only one on ebay. High priced and the one I ordered is lost in the guys shop I bought it from. Is the clutch switch something that I could opt out on worrying about? I can't find the part anywhere online at many different cycle websites. Thanks
