I am looking at swapping my bars out as the next step in my project, and am not sure if any of the bar types from Biltwell i am looking at will be a rougher install then the next.I know clutch cables and master cylinders are sometimes an issue with some bar styles. I am leaning tword the Clubman,Frisco or "H" Style bars.If Anyone w experience or knowledge on potential issues w one over another could give me some advice id appreciate it. Thank You.

It depends on how agressive you are with bar positioning. Its the angle that you put it at thats a real killer with the master. any of the ones that lay the master flat will be close and if you rotate it away from you itll be a worse situation like the frisco. The clubmans could also run into that issue as well.
Just pop the cap off the master and see how its laid out. Itll give you a good idea of what will work and why.
I run mine of flat broomstick bars and its pretty close to being bad. I would say its bad but it seems to work. Mind you im just using the stocker as a mock up piece till i decide what to do but for running around the hood its ok. I overfilled it for sure and im still nervous about it. The bike and master combo when standing striaght up in a normal riding position leaves almost no fluid over the master holes. Turning right uncovers it unless you over fill.

I have the same bike. here is what im running right now:

the clutch cable had to be re-routed a bit but it wasn't a big deal. I've been running these all year so far and have had no problems. Not to mention the fact they look way better than the stockers....

CadMonster, did you have to swap out the master at all? I just put the same kind of bars on mine and my mc is all askew. worried about the angle but I'm wondering if it's ok for a while until I can get a new one.

This is just a mockup of my new bars and grips, so please ignore the fact that the bike is not put together. I found the bars and grips on Amazon, believe it or not. The bars are brand new, 7/8" H-Bars, and they fit perfectly with the master cylinder, and all factory controls. At their highest point, they are the same height as the factory bars. They look badass, and cost me roughly $35. The bars, grips and mirrors were all less than $75 total.

I haven't changed the MC yet. When i put the bars on i made sure to bleed the front brake and ensure the proper fluid level. I haven't had any problems with braking at all. My dad has been running drag bars on his Kawasaki vulcan for years, and he has the same crooked MC issue, but has not had any problems stopping either.

Anybody know where a guy could score a different XJ master cylinder that sits level with drag or clubman bars?

Use one from a 650 Seca, an XJ700 or 900 Seca. Or check with XJ4Ever, he has both the aforementioned OEM and an aftermarket alternative.
