Riding last night testing out my new Clutch (thanks bigfitz) and she ran great. However during the test ride my tailight quit. I have power to headlight but when I check the connections using a test light I have no power to the tailight (not stock). I checked also using a test meter under load at various spots and everything seemed ok as well as the fuses. Any suggestions or more spots to look?

No brake light either...I know it has a to be a bad connection someplace

Ive checked all the harnesses with a load tester...What is the config when you are up in the handlebars/headlights? Is there a switch I need to locate or a connection point to check? Hope you all can help. Hand Signals are getting old (and a almost near miss with the guys last weekend)

Is the socket the bulb plugs into corroded or is the bulb bad?

its a new light bulb and socket (bobber style) and fuses all check out. is there some connections and splits in the headlight or on the handlbars? The front end is stock.

The light has worked fine, just out of the blue it quit

When you checked power to tail light, where did you check? At the light socket or at the light wire junction(bullet connectors)?

    Not familiar with the 650. My 700 has: yellow/brake - green/tail - black/ground.

Just remembered that one of my turn signal wires is green as well, check to see if you have them switched.
