Just bought 1981 seca 750 - OIL CHANGE HELP !!!???

    yea i was just looking for one. but i still have no idea how to get that one out with breaking it or stripping it.

    and once you DO get it apart, clean that poor filter housing. That CANNOT be rust, because it's cast alloy; therefore that's all just baked-on dirt and crud.

    Get the aftermarket filter bolt from XJ4Ever, it has a bigger head than the stock bolt.

    That little number cast into the housing there is the torque spec; it works out to 11 ft/lb.

    Yea its dirt i leave on a dirt road and that was my plan. I am gonna wait untill i get the new bolt and try to mess with it some more.

    worst comes to worst you can cut off the head and then just use a vice grips on the bolt shaft, its crazy long so you dont have to worry

    nice I figured that was the drain plug...wasnt sure glad I made this read...
