I've heard all about how bad it is to use pods. Im not sure how well the xj700 suppose to ride but I'm loving how mine is riding now. Last year I took out the airbox and put on the pods; the bike rode really roughtf. This year, I took the carbs out, cleaned the jets, and put it back together. It still ran a litttle rough. I read on here to do a velocity stack with my pods. I did that and had the carbs synched. Now I love the way my xj ride. Took it out today and rode for about 50 miles. Tell me your story about pods and how your bike rode.

Its always nice to hear of a successful pod story. Some like em, some dont. Ive tried for years to get my 750 Seca dialed in correctly with various pods. I'm real close but still have a problem area around 5K. Im done fiddling & am going back to the box. All my jeans have stains from the oiled foam. The motor pulls in water in heavy rain. On a positive note, Ive learned all about the carbs on my bike. Glad for your good luck, rock on!

Looks good, nice little bobber. Glad to hear a success. The bike is supposed to ride like a hot devil from a stop to redline. With no faulters or hangs. If it does that youre good.
