    hey guys just bought my first bike ever its a 1981 xj750 seca
    i have already cleaned the carbs and already out them on (pain in the ass)
    anyways
    i want to add some POD Air Filters and remove the stock air box
    what are some pros and bad thing about this
    and do i have to do anything to the carbs if i do this?i read somewhere i need to replace the jets
    this is all new to me so i really dont know and cant find much info online for this bike

    just search pods on here lots of info and arguments about it here. my advice keep all the stock parts just in case.

    i plan on keeping it but its just a pain in the ass getting the carbs back in i also havent found out a way to get the box out

    Lower 48 in general. Otherwise Central Mitten.
    With the 750 seca you have to pull the engine to get the airbox out in one piece.

    Read everything in the forums about pods. It doesn't really seem worth it from what I've read. especially not for a 'first bike ever'. Ride it stock for a while before you make mods that could potentially eff it up.

    thanks guys i guess ill keep it stock for now
    also ran with some problems yesterdays after i cleaned my carbs.i finally got iy to run but when i rode it and died (beginner rider ) i tried turning back on it struggles anyone have a idea why?
