Leak at fuel sender terminal

I have a very small fuel leak at the fuel sender, at the non-ground terminal. I tried coating it with some leftover Kreem from the outside, but I may not have let it dry long enough--it slowed the leak but it is still there. The Kreem did confirm the location of the leak, it is discolored and loose from that terminal down. (I really need a second bike, I've had a couple of issues with riding too soon after applying something that needs to dry)

Is it likely I will be able to stop the leak without a new sender, or letting something dry for weeks? Maybe epoxy or JB Weld?

 

There is a press fit terminal in there with a gasket and that gasket is failing. You could try a coating of epoxy on the inside and outside. That will require removal of the sending unit from the tank. It might help for a little while but it would only be temporary. It would be better to find another one.
