    For that much I'd have 1/3 down on a BRAND NEW ONE!

    ONLY 12k miles on that 78. Poor old girl sat in the garage except for weekend joy rides.

    That being said it does look good in those small pictures.

    Though I'm confused why the fairing and saddle bag doors are missing the matching decals... Hobbled together touring package and/or repainting I'm guessing.

    Yeah, that's a bit much. If you are looking for a bargain, I know of an '82 750 Maxim for sale locally for only $3500. His sign says it's a 950 (I did call the number and tell him repsectfully that it was a 750 so he may have changed it), and even thought it is on the sidestand, the oil window is completely covered. Sitting there with petcock on prime. Nice looking bike, though.
