idle screw

    what is the best way to remove the idle screw plug on my bike? Once I remove the plug is that something that needs to be replaced?

    Drill a hole and put a screw in the hole, pull it out. Be carefull, the mixture screw is just below the plug. Do not drill into it.
    The plug does not need to be replaced. I cover mine with plastic plugs to keep dirt and moisture out. They are available at any hardware store.

    Where exactly is this plug located? I cant seem to find it. The carb diagram I have dosent show it in the right place.

    Is it the brass plug looking thing right next to the plunger?

    Th Idle Screw is at th rear of th carbs..the Pilot Mixture Screw is front top.
    Th Brass Plug next to th plunger (which operates enrichment circuit ), will be a cap on th Pilot Screw and needs to be removed as mlew said.
