What's with the off-site avatars havin to be under 6 kb?
I mean, look how crappy my avatar looks...

[EDIT] Look How SWEET it looks since the guys here hooked me UP, 8).

What's the best / smallest picture type to use there?
I wanna have a pic of my bike in the new paint, but the quality is so bad by the time I get it reduced that you wouldn't be able to tell if it was a black Seca or a Pink Lincoln.

If you want you can send me the pic you want to use and I can try to make it work. I am pretty good with the photo shop.

It took me a while to get mine right... it requires patience and photoshop.

    Thanks for the offor.
I decided to do the same crappy job I did with the avatar I have now (the red bike).. Just reduce it in paint to 100th of it's size and save it as a .gif...

However, once I go take a few nice pics of the bike (out in the sun instead of in my garage) I MAY just take you up on your offor.

Hey, If anyone feels like doing the photoshop treatment on this Pic (i.e. reduce to avatar size):

    I'd be very grateful.
Maybe I should get photoshop myself... I've tried it before and just find it confusing (too used to Microsoft Paint).

I used Photoshop CS2 to reduce it and then hit it with an un-sharpen mask. For some reason it always seems to work rather well when reducing an image by allot rather than using the standard sharpening tool. Other than that I haven't done anything to it.

I know its not an avatar but I started this this morning before I had to leave for work and and just had a chance to add the text to it. I would kill to get this bike in front of an actual old style cafe. Any way here is a little desktop I did up for you ease.

No way man, I'm completely flattered.
I'm happy that you guys thought enough of my build to fool around with the pics. Not that I would have regretted it - but it really makes the hard work worth it.

...Considering actually putting the bike in a show or 2 this summer now. Too bad I never painted the frame and motor (silver) like I wanted - But I do ride this thing everyday in the summer, so it'll get a little thrashed.
