    We discussed that very article at length recently in another thread; and even more interesting was that we got a response from the editorial staff when we criticized the glaring errors in the piece.

    Yes. The GPZ550 was a damn good bike, for it's day. I never really had a problem with it. it was a smidge under powered, but handled decent for a straight bike with, basicaly fairing thrown in,imho. But i never really cared for kawasaki bikes, always been a big fan of HONDA...lol, yea i know, but i have a soft place in my heart for yamaha's. My first 4 dirt bikes as a kid( mid '70's) were al YZ's...

    I didn't, but all these guys seem to think they are pretty good (in race trim) yep all GPZ 550's
