    I think the manual says 1050 +/- 100 rpm.

Mine will not idle below 2500 when u bench synch do you have the valve grab the card or just enough to where u have to actually pull a little but on the notecard

You want the strip of paper or paper clip to pull out a little, trying to match the resistance for all 4 carbs.

Doing a bench sync is only the first step in the sync process.

You do a bench sync to get the bike running so you can then do a RUNNING VACUUM SYNC. (With the YICS blocked.) Since the bike is running, move to the next step, your vacuum sync.

I find it easier to use Polock's method; match the relationship of the butterflies to the tiny "bypass holes" in the top of the carb throats.

Regardless, you won't get your final smooth idle without doing a proper vacuum sync.

While your bike is running spray starting fluid around all your carb boots and such to look for any vacuum leaks. You're going to pull your hair out trying to sync the bike with vacuum leaks.
Your question is usually the one that opens the can of worms that leads to doing the valves and sorting out the carbs.

    Good.

Now it's time to do a running vacuum sync. With the YICS blocked.

Then you tweak the mixtures, and re-sync. When it's right , it will idle smoothly at 1050, immediately 'snap' to throttle input, and just as quickly return to idle.

You're close. All you need to do is complete the process.
