First, I'm not really diggin the look of the bar mounted mc so i wanna keep my stock headlight mount, I'm curious to know if there are any round headlights that will fit that mount. Also, I'm intersested in putting maxim gauges on my 82 seca and am unsure if those gauges will be compatible, and i still have my original seca gauges if anyone is interested in a trade of some sort. Any info greatly appreciated guys.

I have a whole cluster/front end from an 85 maxim 700. Don't know all of the compatibility details though....

pretty sure the brackets will work for any 7" headlight with side mounting points. measure it to make sure.

as far as the gauge swap goes if I remember right the 82 seca has an electronic tach so you need the same on the round gauges. you will need to do some rewiring to bypass the electronics that were in the 750 atari and are not in the round gauges.

Lower 48 in general. Otherwise Central Mitten.
To swap to the 700 Maxim front end willl require everything from the wheel to the triple tree. including brakes, and forks. Otherwise it is a bolt in swap using the tapered roller bearing upgrade.

If you changed out the wiring harness to one from a 83 750 Maxim, or 82-83 650 maxim it would eliminate all the extra wiring for the sensors, and eletronics used in the atari cluster. Both harnesses were used on bikes with round gauges, and lights.

Note: The 82 750 maxim also used the atarti cluster with all the extra sensors, and wiring. Therefore not suitable for the intended swap.
