    Parting out 85 Maxim X.


    Parts Gone already.
    Tank, larger side cover, rear fender, horns, gauge panel, exhaust.

    Planning to keep cylinder head.

    I do have 5-valve plastics but they have some broken tabs & 1 crack - Better than nothing!

    I live in Ontario Canada. (Think of it as Buffalo North).

    Paint Ball: I only have a smaller side cover.. Which I believe is left.
    Have the exhaust cover... But as luck would have it.... It's only 2/3 there. UHH!

    Hog Fiddles: Pic's below... Please carefully not the photo bucket description of the covers. The mounts and crack can be repaired to an extent. There's some chrome de-lamination on the back of one, just a little on the front.

    Here are the signals bits... Nothing is mint but you want to take parts for yours.... The 2 rings are no good, the one on the signal is ok.

    I was definitely after the rears. They still work, but look like they have the Molson droop! :roll: The isolation rubbers are cracked all the way through and the P.O. has them held together with black electrical tape.

    Clutch bits

    The perch uses a bolt that threads in and an additional bolt to hold the lever. The threaded part in the perch is stripped. I think it doesn't matter because of the bolt but...... I must tell you. I think the cable has been extended... Reasons unknown to me.

    As far as the mirror and handlebar mount that seems fine.
