82 xj650 maxim inspected, ready to go in southeastern PA

    philly area. just got it inspected in march.

    42k miles.
    drag bars, 4 into 1 exhaust, replaced speedo cable in sept.
    recently inspected, great runner
    looking to get 1000 obo
    picking up a brand new harley, so i don't have a place to keep this one anymore, plus i can only ride one bike at a time.

    Sharp looking bike. I'm trying to finish mine up this weekend since we get some nice weather. I'm just down the road from you in DC. I'll get some pics posted of my work in progress later on.

    yeah, we had that one 80 degree day a few weeks ago and i rode about 100 miles. then back into the deep freeze.

    damn mid atlantic weather.

    I feel you there. I just got my bike in January. Haven't even gotten a mile on it yet. Carbs were messed up when I got it. got it running but the carbs needed cleaned. So they came off, then I got into painting some stuff, etc. Hopefully this weekend I'll get it close to wrapped up. then it needs to goto inspection down here.
