I just rebuilt a large portion of my wiring harness, and now I have no spark. I was wondering if someone could walk me through a minimum wiring for the bike to run. I've got it cranking, but after taking a cap off and stick a bare wire in it then touching it to the spark plug while cranking, I know for a fact there is no spark.

What would really help would be if someone could tell me how to find the neg and positive on the coils without any electronic testing equipment...I think if I knew that I could figure it out. If necessary I can take some pictures and label whats going to what in the picture.

ok so i just learned that the bike will actually run if you hook the coils up in reverse, so thats good news.

I'd really like to know how the rectifier and tci and engine pickups are suppose to be connected. I've been studying a diagram and marking what I need, but its really difficult to read....I'm obviously not an electrician =(
