Hey guys I built a cafe racer out of an 81 XJ650 last year and made some modifications along the way. I ditched the stock airbox which was cracked anyways and went to pod filters, and I bought the MAC 4 into 1 exhaust system for it. I did a bunch of the bench sync stuff that people post about on here, and I took it to a guy in town and had them synced with a vacuum gauge. The bike ran like a raped ape, but at idle it kind of craps out if you don't keep on the throttle. I emailed MAC and they told me that I need to up my main jets 2 sizes and my pilot jet 1 size. I was just wondering, what size jets would that be for each? I'm still new to this whole thing so any help here would be great! Thanks people!

It is all trial and error with those jets. What might work with one bike of your same type may not work with yours. Good luck on that. I kept my bike stock because of the hassle.

Takes time and patience here's what chacal has to say about it, from another post
Im running pods with stock exhaust, followed this after everything else was to spec (very important, check your float levels) and she runs like a dream, I'd be happy to run it with any of these stock guys any day, and I'd probably pull too considering all the weight I took off and the stiffer suspension

I'm not convinced that the solution for the Lean Condition presented when Aip Pods are installed can be alleviated by "Re-Jetting" alone.

During experimentation, I have come to believe that the LEAN Condition is more likely due to an Inadequate Main AIR Supply.

    Main AIR.
The AIR needed to be drawn from the Main AIR Jet that supplies AIR to the passage that feeds the Void surrounding the MAIN NOZZLE ::: (Or as we refer to it as Emulsion Tube), :::

I only have a Sketch for a Prototype.
Others have taken this ball and run with it.
This design ONLY addresses the issue of "Positive Atmosphere" surrounding the Lower Diaphragm and Supply to the Hitachi Internal AIR Jets.

The Atmosphere Vent is extended OUTSIDE the Pod alleviating Low Pressure affecting it due to Turbulence and Cyclonic Air Flow at the Intake Horn.
