    Hey All,

After a very long sleep, my 1982 Purple Seca Turbo is back on the road! New tires, fresh oil...checked check valves and a no warning battery mod.

Each time I ride...it runs better. These things HATE storage!

Ah well..that'll teach me to leave it alone for another bike.

I've got another one, complete ready for light restoration and a new engine I ended up with in the distant past. Also a full spare set of plastic. I knew I'd never sell the first one so I loaded up on spares!

Only issue I have currently...which may go away with some riding...is having to keep some choke on so the bike idles properly. Didn't see/hear any vacuum leaks and the carbs are clean. Crud??

    Glad to be Back,

    Rick

    Welcome to the site !!
Good idling with some "choke" (enrichment circuit) speaks of one thing - -

You gotta clean-out and pick out your Pilot circuit. If the problem doesn't go away with a few tanks of gas, it's crud lodged and hiding inside some very tiny passages.

    Adrian,
Thanks. When I bought it from a friend MANY years ago. He thought it was Blue. Turns out he was color-blind and chose the color out of a book!

It's 1974 Plymouth "Plum Crazy" Kind of a "Purple Rain" color.

Draws a lot of compliments from the ladies. The bike still has the real glass neon tubes down the inside of the fairing and under the rear plastic. It lights up the Engine and the Rear Wheel.

I've always wanted to have the lights triggered by the boost gauge. Kind of a poor man's Warp Drive!
