I recently purchased a set of Fiamm's El Grande horns. All worked good when I hooked up the wires and tested the horn while holding it in my hand. Then I went to mount them to the bike, and found out the horns ground through the mounts. Im not very good at wiring solutions and am just wondering if any of you may have some ideas. This kit did come with a relay, would hooking it up to the horns be a cure? At this point my next idea is to spray rubberized undercoating on the mounting bracket. Thank you! (also, would like to use original horn button if possible)

This is an easy one. You just need to run a ground wire to any nut/bolt/screw that is attached to the frame in some manner.

Adding a relay may not be a bad idea.

Thank you guys for the input, did end up going through and added relay per Metal Bob's article. All is working great now. Goal is to be seen and heard when needed so this helps me feel a little better on the roads. :)
