The fuel line connection on the petcock on my XJ900N is press fit into the petcock body and it leaks. Is there a recommended fix?

The brass nipple is press fit to the cast body, to loosens over time. Gently grab it with some pliers and twist it out while pluuing. Don't scratch the brass up. After it is apart clean both surfaces with fine sandpaper(400 grit). Mix some 5 minute epoxy and smear a little dab on the nipple. Put it back in the hole and turn to spread the glue, tap firmly with the plastic end of a screwderver to reseat it. Let dry for a few hours and its done.
If the nipple won't come out thats OK. A few drops of thin CA(super glue) will seal it back up.
The epoxy fix is more preminate than the CA but sometimes you can't be picky.
