    Sure--

    Time for carb cleaning and service, valve clearance check and carb sync.

    Check for obvious vacuum leaks (petcock vac line, vacuum spigot caps, etc.)

    Any mods?

    Depending on the accuracy of your initial bench sync, either you're still way out of sync;

    or you have a vacuum leak somewhere.

    I'll ask again: Intake or exhaust mods?

    are your band clamps holding any of the blades open i had this problem...is the adjuster on your throttle cable right PO had mine all the way turned in and when i cleaned the carbs and started it up it rev'd up to 9 grand and stayed there all i did was adjust it down until the idle screw picked it up
