Has anybody ever found a fair priced replacement for the plexi? Original owner painter black and it's now bubbling. I may try sanding and repainting?

Well in my experience Ive removed VHT tint from taillights before with stages of wet sanding. I would believe that this method would work with your windshield and after you remove all of the paint hand buff it back up to a shine. In theory it would work and well what would you be out.

Hehe, I wish it was tint, the dude roughed it up and painted it shiny black. Good job but it didn't work, it bubbled

I feel like a dummy, but how do I download that catalog?

you can look through the "catalog" here but it is out of date and pricing and availability may vary. http://www.xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=14561.html

better yet just email Len at info @ xj4ever.com (remove spaces) and tell him what you are looking for.

    I don't think it's Plexiglass, but somehow a softer plastic - 31A bike.

DON'T SPRAY WINDEX on it - it streaks, and the streaks stay for months.
