Brake light isnt getting brighter when brake is squeezec/depressed(front and rear brakes)

Bought new bulbs from chacal so that isnt the problem i have a new fuse box from chacal as well not the problem horn and all other lights still work.

Rear stop / tail bulb is dual filament, if you have the right bulb it's probably the switch. Check by pulling the 2 wires & touch them together.

    also my understanding using the:
The Ultimate Relay, Switch, Sensor, and Diodes Guide
Its 2 different switches, i mean its possible they both went bad at the same time but is there an option that makes more sense.

Have you checked continuity through the socket and from each switch to the socket. If both were working and the bulb is good and I suspect a bad wire or corrosion in the socket.

bulb good, continuity all the way from the front brake lever to the part where its spliced to the rear brake pedal (yellow and green and yellow wiring all the way back to the brake light all checks out for continuity. What didnt and im guess it wouldnt unless its squeezed, depressed is the ( . . ) yes bad image lol but the right little dot to the inside part where the ground is for the bulb it had no continuity where as the left do to the ground did. Im assuming left dot is running light filament right dot would be brake light filament.

i may be wrong tho as i just put it back together and both filaments are lit up. Is it supposed to be that way and just get brighter?

No. One filament for tail light, other filament lights when lever is depressed. Sounds like one of the switches is stuck in the "on" position.

I would suspect rear switch first.

Could also possibly be the front switch/improper lever adjustment.

Cool. Just FYI, any time you adjust the rear brake pedal, you need to adjust the rear brake switch.

I had the same problem. My original brake switch was ugly so I replaced it with a new one. Then my brake didn't work. It ends up when I replaced the new brake switch, I didn't click it in fully to make a connection. I'd look over your brake switch. Its likely the culprit
