The Seca's at 31,500 something, the Max is at 7995 and holding for a bit while it's being freshened up and the Ninja's at 12,500 and holding awaiting back ordered tires.

Sad, three bikes and only one is currently ride-able. :? Oh well, the tires should be here next week and I'm not too far off on getting the Max done. :)

Wow, Kwiski. That's incredible. I am about 32,000. Bought her last year with 26,000. I commute every day so an average week is 150.

What I think about is the 4-5-6000 or more rpms on a cruise with these engines compared to my 4Runner that rides at a mellow 2800 - and how much faster they can age due to that.

I just did my first "trip" for 70 miles. Driving 60mph I was pretty tired and dry (came around a corner in a town and stopped at a little girls lemon aid stand helped).
I just got the bike (after 15 years of not having one) so I'm not used to ridding again.
I was thinking this bike maybe to small to take on a long trip. You give me hope I can work up to it.

What was it like? How fast where you driving? Do you have a faring or windshield?

    Chris.

Done a few 7 hour runs on it this year straight out 60-70 mph the whole way only stopping for gas. all stock bike except the highway pegs.

I have done 1,000 mi in one day coming home from Cape Cod. 2-up none the less. I have taken this bike 2-up with luggage to upper Michigan, Blue Ridge, Cape Cod; no problem. Definitely big enough bike for traveling. I have a Vetter fairing on it. Helps to break the cold wind riding to work on frosty mornings!
