Removing Stock Gauges...??? Please Help...

    I want to remove my stock gauge cluster and get rid of that rats nest in the front of my 83 seca 750...please help me.....Ill end up getting a pair of small gauges (tach, speedo) but right now I just cant stand looking at those ugly gauges... can someone give me a quick run down of what wires I can clip and reove and what wires need to stay...

    I saw the MIN WIRING DIAGRAM thread but wasnt sure if that related to my seca 750? PLease advise WIZARDS...thanks...

    GET A BOOK.

    The 750 Seca has all SORTS of stuff running to/from the "Atari" (or "fish finder") that can be eliminated/bypassed/jumpered.

    The "minimal wiring diagram" involves a whole lot more modifications, and I wouldn't recommend it. Losing the Atari and going to a round headlight on a 750 Seca is a very common mod; many have done it. BUT YOU NEED A WIRING DIAGRAM to work from.

    And that's in the service manual.
