I recently changed the battery on my bike as we'll as the starter replaced the clutch and put new gaskets on the intakes. I changed the starter because the other one was going out, prior to it going out the bike ran great. Now when I try to start the bike it cranks over but then it just fires a few times and then seems to misfire blowing out the intakes and just backfiring and it never does run. I did nothing to the carbs while I had it apart. Any ideas or places I shoud check it is almost like it is firing out of order, any chane it is th coils. Please any advice woud be appreciated even fro big fitz

Probably not well or not at all under compression, at least not enough to support combustion well. I'd suggest a new set, and recheck that your work closely, make sure you havent accidently created a vacuum leak. also check your oil level to see if it rose and maybe fuel diluted..
