A week ago, I visited the biggest motorcycle cemetary in the area. It was my first visit to such a place, and an interesting experience. I didn't find my much-needed Seca 550 fairing brackets, but thought I'd share a couple of pics.

This is just the Yamaha section:

Need a carb? Yeah, we have a few of those:

Seca Turbo? Sure - cannibalize one of these:

I wish we had a place like that here.
That looks like fun I'd have a field day.

Few parts I'd love to get off of the Seca Turbos (like that plastic oil cooler cover, front turn signals, check valves, and any undamaged rubber mirror staulk covers).

    Look at all those carbs

Right, this place is in Jordan, MN, below the city about 15 or whatever: http://www.sportwheel.com/

But I can't say it's run very well: they have no inventory, and as everything is left outside, it rusts and corrodes pretty quick, ya know? I put in a request for a few specific parts via phone before I went down there, and just never heard from them. :(

If you go, you just bring your own tools, yank off whatever you want, and I'm guessing they just barter the price with you as the register. I went down there for valve shims, and got the 3 I needed for $10.

Last time I was there for parts the price was 1/2 price of new parts. I wasnt real impressed but I needed a taillight assy right away. They do have a large inventory, too bad everything is out in the elements. They sell some used bikes as well.

That is really sad to see. All those bikes that could be used, just rotting away in the weather.

I've always been curious about that place, and afraid of it at the same time. Their website is complete shite, can't believe they still let 9 year olds run it.

I've gone down there as well.

True, a lot of their stock is going to crap. Bikes aren't like cars, and running an uncovered yard the same way just doesn't work. I'm guessing parts aren't their bread and butter - they seem to have a pretty good business going in complete bikes.

Frankly, the place is hard to even walk around in, the bikes are just sort of piled up.

A ton of XJ bikes there, though.
