Any one else in Utah?

    Any one else in Utah? I would like to do a ride with a bunch of guys. My neighbor has a Roadstar1700 and we ride together.

    im in slc but my bike is not running yet only had it 2 weeks

    nice. I am in Orem. It took me a few months to get it running, but they run really nice when you get them going.

    We are planning on a trip up the alpine loop either later this year or early next year. I will keep you posted.

    I'm in the Ogden area... But My bike is out of commission too, can't get it out of first gear. Looks like I will have to crack the case to fix the cam cain guide. So I'm down for this riding season anyway.

    got the carbs done, tank from paint, rewired fuse box trying to get it to start :x

    all right im a little pissed now changed plugs runs on ether all the bleed screws are seized and i want it running

    I haven't gone through my carbs yet. that is my winter project. Going to do exactly what you just did. Paint the tank and go through the carbs. I would pm bigfitz to see what his advice on stuck bleed screws are. He will probably have good advice for that.

    it now runs for some reson thow it runs better with the petcock in the off position. few small things left

    I notice this forum is OLD... Im in UT myself. between SLC and Ogden... Work in SLC.. so yeah...
    tryin to get my rig up to snuff so i can ride her.

    Im in utah as well west of Salt Lake. Just got me a 1982 xj 650 in great shape runs good. Looking to redo the exhaust and maybe forward controls to start.

    I'm in SLC too got a '82 xj 550 trying to get it running last owner didn't know the diff between electrical tape and duck tape so I have to redo the wiring

    I'm in Spanish fork and I know its the end of October but someone pm me if anyone wants to ride whenever. Just finished an xj bobber and would love to see others in Utah county or just ut
