help where does this plug go?

    I bought a '82 maxim xj550 a couple of weeks ago and im trying to fix all the crappy wiring previous owner did but there is this plug thats disconnected and I don't know where it goes so if you guys know where it goes please let me know

    this plug goes out from behind the headlight if that helps

    That the brake hand lever switch unit (that plugs into the master cylinder) but, it's broken and missing it's plunger.........we do carry replacements for this swich e-mail or PM us for details.

    What you have there is a broken switch. You'll need to replace it. The plunger is missing as well as the whole rest of the top.

    Now, what you have: That is the brake switch that plugs into the right hand brake lever/mastercylinder.

    Order a replacement, leave your's connected until the new one arrives so that you know how to connect it.

    then we'll help you get it routed correctly.
