    So far so good and I now have the bike running. A new battery, spark plugs, fuel lines and filter and fresh gas and it runs. Here is a short video I took today.

    I still need to change the oil and filter, add the new grips, replace tires, check brakes, etc...

    Carbs are now cleaned and the motor starts, idles and runs great. I've also installed a new battery, oil and filter, spark plugs and grips. Next up is the front hydraulic brake, fork seals and wipers.

    i had a blue one 15 years ago, wish i never got rid of it. it was mint and idiot i sold it too ruined it. damn good bike.

    Got one like yours in Madrid, yours looks nicer, though.

    Levers are the only thing that breaks / bends after you let it drop.

    Watch valve clerance and oil and you will be riding forever. Mine has 39k and 30 years and no problems.

    The levers are bent but I've got a new set coming. The 19,000 kms that is on the dial over 30 years is nothing.

    mine was originally the sapphire blue (or whatever they called it). But I may just change the color to either the red (as shown above) or some other custom color. I just haven't decided yet, I'm torn between going back to original.....................but I don't care for blue bikes; going with the red..............which I think is an AWESOME color for a bike; or a custom color...................just to do something different.

    Do you happen to have a picture of yours from when you had it?
