You are right down the road from my office in Alexandria......

Good luck finding a decent bike yard around here. Best I've ever seen is junkyards that have a few bikes. I think there is one way over near BWI airport in Hanover Md on Telegraph road(no, not the telegraph road in Ft Belvoir) but I've heard their prices are astronomical so you might do better with fleabay.

I work in Arlington and live down at Lake Anna. I haven't heard of any bike salvage yards in my area. Ebay seems like the way to go!

I've seen a few bikes at the crazy ray's u-pull it yard near baltimore when I go hunting for Jeep parts. I doubt it'd be worth the trip.

Yeah, but it's only about 15 or 20 bikes all in a pile....i looked through them last fall while on a quest to replace my sons truck lid for his maxum. Mostly junk unless you needed a specific frame part. Someone had told me about a bike yard up in your neck of the woods iwin, but I've never found out exactly where it was.....I think they were probably thinking of the one in hanover.

sky...I'll check with a couple kaw friends in Va and see if they know of any....they would know if one exists.
