exhaust question

    On the bottom of both my stock mufflers there is a hole in each one at the same spot its on the bottom and right after they connect from the cross pipes? are they like drain holes

    They are not found on my stock set of pipes. They could have been drilled out by a PO.

    That is exactly what they are.

    Condensation in the exhaust or the slight upward tilt of the mufflers could allow water to build up. Those holes allow the water to drain to keep the exhaust from becoming plugged by water.

    Look right behind the front weld on the muffler. Where the pipe is welded in.

    They're in different places on different bikes, but they all have them. The big long cans on the 550 Secas have two.

    That's what I figured thanks guys oh one more exhaust question. If there was a hole on a muffler slightly smaller than a dime would it effect how the bike ran
