I picked up a set of Dyna DC1-1 coils for my 81 750 seca. and need to replace the bad TCI Unit. Is there anything aftermarket I can use Since this part is no longer available.

The 81 750 Seca uses the same TCI as the 82 to 84 XJ650 and the 82 83 XJ750 Maxim. So his 83 XJ750 Maxim replacement TCI will work on your Seca! According to the Yamaha web site parts list and cross reference list.

Thank you. I looked up the part numbers just to verify before I emailed him. Do you happen to know the pin out for the plugs? Im pretty sure I have it right but would like to verify that as well.

I'm going to have to check on that up. Exactly what are you looking for? Is it the color of the wires for each of the pins?

This info has been most helpful for me also, I have traced an electrical fault back to my TCI and was unable to find a suitable aftermarket one until now. Just bought a spare off a breaker in South Carolina but will go with one of these i think. Even off a breaker on ebay, these things seem to go for 100USD at least so 203 for something brand spanking seems like a good deal.
