    It has a significant amount of pitting along the lower portion of the fork. I'm sure I can smooth them up enough to make them usable but with some of the chrome gone, it's just a matter of time before they start to rust again.

    Check down at Sport Wheels in Jordan MN. Think their web page is at www.sportwheels.com . Last time I was there they had an 83 with good forks on it. That was early spring and I would give them a try to see if they are still there.
