Hello everyone, Newly registered on here but i have been reading this forum since the beginning of the season.

First off i wanted to say ty to everyone who shared all the how to posts. You guys / gals ? helped me get a basket case 81 xj550 maxim back on the road. Now my season is coming to a end so i will be reading more how to fix stuff posts during the off season so i can tear the bike apart and hopefully return her back to a beautiful machine as i see her.

    Thank you again

The yellow wire is a on the road fix to a broken front brake switch. i learned a long time ago when you go on a long ride you take odd ball things with you. becasue thast the stuff youll really need. like this i needed a toggle switch and some wire . lucky for me i packed just that.
