    My TCI went out and I wanted to know if anyone had an extra one they would be willing to sell me. The #'s on the top are TID14-02 4H7-10. Or if anyone knows of an "alternative repair" or someone that repairs them. Thanks in advance. I'm in San Diego

    I have one from a 1981 XJ750 Seca for sale, but I don't know for sure if it works for an XJ650. The number on it is T1014-06 5G2-10. It was removed from a running bike so it should be good. $60 plus shipping

    The XJ750 maxim uses the same TCI as the 650 so you CAN use one of them if you find one.

    If his is an 81 650 (non-YICS) then he may not be able to use the same as the 750. However if it's the YICS 650 then yep it should work. My 83 650 and 81 750 have the same model TCI. Just trying to clarify a little :D.
