    Looking for a backrest type sissybar for my 1982 Maxim 650. My wife rides with me and has a bad back and needs the support. Have not been able to locate one anywhere. Thanks!

    There are a couple on ebay. (search "backrest yamaha maxim")
    You might want to post this in buy/sell/wanted section.
    You migh also consider a trunk, many of them have backrest pads.
