Front brake issues

    I just changed my master cylinder and replaced it with new brake fluid...and the front brakes still dont work. Any suggestions for what i should do or check next?

    Yes i did bleed

    Yes put a vacuum on the bleed screw to help pull fluid out of the master to the calipers.

    Once you have done that the calipers should bleed easily.

    Lever mushy or firm?

    Slides on those calipers like to seize up solid. When that happens only the piston side is doing anything...and not much at that...but it will have a firm lever feel.

    And they'll usually bind harder and harder the farther you ride, as the dragging pad heats up and things start to expand a bit.

    Did you rebuild the master cylinder?

    Rebuild the caliper?

    To do the brakes properly, you need to rebuild (thorough cleaning and new seals) both the master cylinder and caliper, and replace the pads and brake lines. Anything less will lead to frustration and is quite dangerous.
