1980 xj 1000?

    HI,so i was browsing thru craigslist and found a 1980 seca 1000? didnt sound right. did they offer a 1000 in 1980? if they did would the bigger motor fit on my 1982 seca 750 frame?

    No they never made a Seca 1000. They have something wrong in their add.

    150 would be pushing it. Looks like its been out in the elements for a long time. Motor might be stuck

    I called the guy and he said its been on a covered car port for about a yr and has had the. Carbs drained out. And covered with a tarp. I told him the didnt make a 1000cc seca in 80 he is gonna text the vin. So i can see hw many ccs it is. He said it does turn over.

    !50 would be the most, start at 100. It would be a good parts bike. Its missing a few patrs

    lol at "nearly complete" and "could be rebuilt"

    haha deff not "nearly" complete and would HAVE to be rebuilt, lol.

    good for a parts bike for 100 bux though

    Im gonna offer him 100 then. I bought my 750 seca running good with tags and title. With extras for 450.just wish it was a 900 or bigger
